First POST!!


Well I guess I should start out by telling you a little bit about me and mine. I am 26 years young, happily married for almost 7 years, momma to two beautiful children<Alex is my 7 year old boy, he is the most handsome little man. Caden is my 4 year old little PRINCESS, she is rotten...but she makes me smile.>, I love love being with friends and family, I enjoy cooking most days, and the most exciting thing right now is we are fixing to become FIRST TIME HOMEOWNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! ok I am done....LOL 

We are buying a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a paradise of a back yard and best of all it will be OURS! I have so many plans that I plan on accomplishing and thought I would share this journey with everyone. We should close on the house in the next week so after that it is GO TIME! Let me list just a few of the things that we are going to do before we move in. 

1. Put in laminate hardwood floor (my sweet sweet husband will be doing this..I will "help" him if he needs it but as you will come to find out I am pretty clumsy so skill saw and me are a NO GO.) 

2. Paint ( I am so excited about this! I am doing a Tiffany Blue in the living room dining room and kitchen because it is open area and dont want too many different colors clashing there. The theme in this area will be a southern glam style...Like me I am very southern but I love love Bling. I will be posting pictures as we go a long. I am painting our kids rooms, Alex wants a red and blue spider-man room and Caden wants a pink and purple...wait for it...Princess room. The bathrooms...I have NO clue yet and the same goes for the master bed room Not a clue! We also have a mother-n-law type suite that I want to paint eventually but not yet...think I am going to paint it Yellowish...idk.)

3. Buy new furniture (new couches, Alex a bunk bed with stairs that double as a dresser, a new kitchen table, and two dressers to go in master room. We are going to get most of these from Sticks-n-Stuff or I will go to yard sells...but I would really like to go to the thrift shop and find some things that I can make new.)

4. Decorate (I cannot wait!! Can't even explain) 
  
5. HOUSE WARMING PARTY


Well I guess for now that is all that I have to say. I am so beyond excited about buying the new house. SO for the most part for now THE HOUSE will be what I write about...and about our adventure!
